One of the first Mission Belt Co contributions went to Elka Sugey, from Camana, Peru. She was seeking a loan of $950 to cover the cost of maintaining her crops and to buy fertilizer.

Elka is a 30-year old married woman with a 10-year old son. She has a small plot of land where she grows beans. She is using the proceeds from her loan to buy fertilizer, and after this season's harvest, hopes to be able to expand and start growing other crops.

The Mission Belt Company is happy to help her get the resources she needs to help her family on the road to self-sufficiency. Know that every time you buy a belt online or in our retail store locations, you are helping people like Elka. Thanks for being a part of the mission!
